  just seen the new awake on jw.org; yet another university graduate, biochemist this time, that has become a jw.. he was so impressed by "is there a creator who cares?"!.

  From Mindnumbed link you can see that Dr. Loos (a JW) works for a Catholic university and makes toasts when he wins prizes…. I thought those were two big NO for dubs.

  Yes Mindnumbed... I think they didn’t need to tell the whole truth (which is not lying according to WT doctrine).

  On the other hand, now the letter to all BOE is on the public domain and thanks to the WT (ironic isn’t it).

  Can someone from Norway update on this? Was the branch sold?

  We know they will reach to 1BM with their sales in NYC, but they are/were also selling in Norway, Sweden, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, Austria and Czech Republic. I bet they will made a few bucks from those too.

  that is a very difficult question to answer since the wt doesnt publish its accounts.

  but some countries require from charities to make public theirs finances.

  i've been thought the wt accounts published for canada, uk and new zealand for 2012. .

  Lostonrye - That's right they are always asking for more. They also receive donations through the Assembly Halls charities, so the number is bigger.

  Thanks tootired - I would guess 15/20 dollars in the US per publisher per month. That would give some 216 million... Just on donations!!!

  And we know they have other sources of income.

  This is what a dub gives to the WT per month in us dollars:

  UK: 50.10 (this includes grants and loans. Cash donations: 13.42)

  Canada: 31.00

  New Zealand: 9.59

  Do you now of other countries where the WT is forced to publish its numbers?
